Christmas Addition

I loved the way the Bookmark turned out. So much so that I decided that I would add to the set. I made a 12 ounce cup and teabag to go in goodie bags. I'm sharing the 12 ounce cup here with you.

Santa's Secret Sleeping Potion

Okay, so I didn't put together any party favors for my 9 year old's party at his school and so I decided to start last night working on some favors for his Christmas party tomorrow. They 9 year old and 7 year old will get out of school on Wednesday and my 4 year old will get out of school on Thursday. The 9 and 7 year olds will have their parties tomorrow and I wanted to do the grab and go cups that I have fallen in love with, but didn't get around to designing one. I did however have plenty of red plastic cups around the house, so I've taken those, decorated them with stickers, and put inside a cocoa packet, marshmallows and chocolate kisses. I'm also going to put a candy cane and tie that up with a cute little gift tag.

I'm a member of a Candy wrapping forum and one of the ladies shared a wonderful poem for Santa's Secret Sleeping Potion. I took Donna's idea and Jane's wonderful graphics and created today's freebie. I hope that you enjoy it.

It's The Simple Things

Okay, so I didn't get the chance to finish up favors for my son's birthday party. He decided Thursday night that he wanted a Pokemon birthday and although I do have Faux Pokemon graphics, I just couldn't get into the designing of it. Well, I told him and he said that it was okay because I send great things to his school all year long. He then asked could he have cupcakes and ice cream and wouldn't you know that Sam's had Pokemon Cupcakes. The bakery lady took them and put Happy Birthday rings in each one and I picked up some Blue Bell ice cream cups. There are only 9 students, including him, in his 4th grade class, 7 in 2nd Grade (my second son's grade) and 5 in 3rd Grade, so I invited them all to come over to his classroom for cupcakes and ice cream. I then popped in his favorite movie, The Grinch (the one with Jim Carrey) and they had a blast.

I go all out planning parties for other people and seem to have "planners block" when it comes to my own children, but my son reminded me yesterday that it's the simple things that matter the most.

My Oldest Son's Birthday

On Sunday, December 16, my oldest son will turn 9 years old. I can not believe that he is nine. The time has just passed by so fast. He is almost as tall as me, which isn't saying much since I'm only 5'4", but it took me 15 years to get to this height :-).

I'm having him a party at his school tomorrow, since there are only 9 students in his class including him, so that I can focus on making it the best party for him and stick to my budget. It is the holidays ya know.

Well, if I ever get his birthday set done I will post it as a freebie. Keep an eye out for it.

Christmas Freebie

This is a wonderful "gag" gift to give to anyone who is expecting something wonderful for Christmas, even though they've been naughty.
